What began as a sewing machine at a college desk has grown into a women-led team of twelve, a studio in South Boston, and hundreds of pounds of clothing diverted from the waste stream. Every piece we make still has a handmade heart tag on the inside, because my mom always said to look for hearts, and we've been finding them everywhere ever since.

At Em's Threads, we believe getting dressed should feel good on every level — good for you, good for the people who made it, and good for the planet. Our team handcrafts every piece using upcycled materials & a whole lot of love!
